PERMITS & INSTALLATIONS

The avec box requires a building permit. We are happy to obtain this for your neighbourhood and pay all associated costs. As soon as the permit is received, we can set up the box in a few days.

RANGE OF GOODS

The avec box offers a varied assortment of fresh and long-life foods, as well as items for everyday use. Through regular customer feedback, we adapt the products to the respective location. We also strive to have local products on offer.

SITE REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for a potential site aren't particularly large. Besides electricity and possibly a water supply for the coffee machine, we only need an internet connection (mobile phone reception) and a 37m2-large space.

THE AVEC BOX IS PART OF THE REVITALISATION OF THIS AREA. The avec box has been with us since June 2021 in the Urdorf-Nord economic area, an area with around 650 companies employing around 6400 people, the Limmattal Cantonal School and the nearby Limmattal Hospital. The avec box is part of the revitalisation of the Luberzenareal (a brownfield site redeveloped for restaurant/café, accommodation and cultural uses). It's great that shopping can be done via app 24/7, making the area more attractive.

DOES THE AVEC BOX REALLY NOT NEED ANY EMPLOYEES?

Our employees are regularly on site to restock the shelves and keep the premises in order. Our team is also at work in the background to ensure a convenient and safe shopping experience in the avec box.

DOES THE AVEC BOX CAUSE A LOT OF NOISE OR OTHER SAFETY PROBLEMS?

We haven't noticed any problems regarding noise with the currently active boxes. There also haven't been any safety-related incidents reported in relation to boxes. In any case, our customer service can always be reached via the app.

ARE THERE CAMERAS IN THE AVEC BOX STORES?

Yes, the alarm and monitoring system serves to ensure the safety of customers - not least in medical emergencies. It also helps us prevent theft and vandalism.

HOW REGIONAL IS THE AVEC BOX RANGE OF GOODS?
